Restrooms

Many restrooms across the district have not been recently renovated. While still functional, restrooms do not meet current standards as defined by California Building Code (CBC) or the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Trends in school restrooms are also showing strategic changes in the fundamentals of restroom planning in consideration of gender neutrality and other student needs. While the Master Plan itself does not propose solutions for the details of restroom renovations, it does highlight restrooms as an area of focus for future modernizations district-wide.
